download the latest software version. Expand the file
‘clincher.zip’ with PKUNZIP.EXE and then copy
the files CLINCHER.EXE and CM2000.DLL to the ‘Sale
Clincher’ Directory. See Features/Patches below.

Expand the
file ‘manual.zip’ with PKUNZIP.EXE and then
copy the file MANUAL.DOC to the ‘Sale Clincher’

with PKUNZIP.EXE and then copy the file CLINCHER.HLP to
the ‘Sale Clincher’ Directory.
Recent Features/Patches included in the above upgrade:
04/01/00 Bug Fix: Depending on your P.C.'s settings, documents generated withing Sale Clincher may be stored in the wrong position within the contact history. This problem is fixed for all time/date settings.
16/12/99 Bug Fix: Documents are sometimes not saved with an error message 'Invalid Data Format'. This depends on the Time/Date format the PC has set. This problem is fixed for all time/date settings.
'07/09/97Feature Documents are stored in directories under the Sale Clincher directory. This is to reduce the build up of a large number of files in the Clincher working directory.
07/01/98 Bug Fix: Some network situations gave locking errors, this has been resolved.
11/09/97 Bug Fix: Setting a 'next action date' to 28th February 2000 failed. This has been fixed.
08/08/97 Bug Fix: On some systems the 'By' name is not correct after editing a contact history entry (using F7). This has been fixed.
31/07/97 Feature: The macro function now allows confirmation before modifying each record. Multiple-choice lists can now be used in a macro. A problem received. The modem/satellite communication will attewith satellite dial-in has been fixed where the ‘update by’ in a contact history was not being correctlympt to use 38400 baud for data transfer.
20/07/97 Feature: When wordprocessing a document the template name is saved in the contact history.

26/06/97 Feature:A new field type has been added to give assistance in evaluating the progress of a sale. The Sales Wizard prompts 15 questions and calculates the optimum actions to take to increase your chance of a successful sale.
26/06/97 Feature:Setting the Diary now shows Appointments and Calls against the Next Action Date.
26/06/97 Bug Fix: Changing the Month in the Diary Screen did not always refresh the date display. This has been rectified.
20/06/97 Bug Fix: Editing Previous History Entries did not always save changes to the ‘Reason For Update’ and other fields. This has been rectified.
15/05/97 Feature: Searching is now possible on ‘Next Action Date’, ‘Allocation’, ‘Date Entered’ and ‘Last Update Date’.
